My husband Dan and I made the decision to move to Amador County from the Santa Cruz Mountains 24 years ago, as we felt this would be a wonderful place to raise our son Brandon.   We built our home in Amador Pines, and we still live in this home today.  I first developed an interest in Lockwood Fire District when my son became a volunteer fire fighter for the District many years ago.   I feel very passionate about the Fire Service and our fire department, even though my son has since moved on to a career in the Fire Service with a State Agency.  Professionally speaking, I am a Registered Nurse, and I feel very fortunate to be able to work locally in our community as a Hospice RN.  Besides the Fire Service, my interests include anything pertaining to Health and Fitness, particularly cycling, as well as music and dance.
