Emergency Evacuation

Evacuation is a scary thought for many of us.  If you think you might be asked to evacuate, or think you just might be in danger from fire, or any emergency, it is best to act on your gut feeling and leave.  Don't wait to evacuate.  Since we live in a high-fire danger area, having the knowledge of what to do beforehand can save your life.  CAL FIRE has an excellent site all about evacuation and how to prepare.  Just click on the link:

Wildfire is coming . .. Are you ready?

Lockwood Fire highly encourages all residents to be prepared.    During our annual Pancake Breakfast in May, we feature a Safety Fair where you can find all kinds of information from all the valued sources in the county.  During a major incident, Lockwood Fire may not respond to your phone calls and/or e-mails.  Call 9-1-1 in an emergency situation.
