What do we do?
The Auxiliary sponsors four events each year to raise funds to help purchase needed equipment for our volunteer firefighters to assist the community as needed. Anyone living in the LFPD District is welcome to participate. It's a good way to meet new people, to give back to your community, and to have fun.
The Smoke Signal is emailed to everyone living in the LFPD District twice a year. For those neighbors who do not have email, we will gladly mail a printed copy to their home. Contact Marilynn Dillon, President, at 296-8011 to give your mailing address.
Any monetary donations are accepted to help our cause. You may send a check, made payable to LFPD Auxiliary, and mail it to our Treasurer at 19641 Hale Rd.
Volcano, CA 95689 If you wish to pay by PAYPAL, you may do so here, safely and securely. Of course, your donation is tax deductible. LFPD Auxiliary is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.

Lockwood Fire Auxiliary held their annual Christmas Community Pot Luck on
December 8 with the usual great food, singing and raffle. At the beginning
of the evening it was announced the Auxiliary had picked a Camp Fire
family to support with the proceeds from the raffle. The Auxiliary raised over $700.00 to send to the Hill family. Thank you for your generosity.
Dear Lockwood Fire Protection Auxiliary,
Thank you so much for helping us during this very difficult time. We are absolutely grateful. My dad was a volunteer fire department chief for 22 years. He helped many people who were affected by fire over the course of his volunteer work. I never expected to find our family in this situation of need, but here we are and I want to express how appreciative we are of help from your Christmas Fundraising money. We intend to use the money towards setting up a new home for ourselves and our children. We have relocated and the children are adjusting well to their new school. The home we are in currently is temporary, we feel lucky to have found a place to live until we can set up our own house again. Thank you for choosing to help us and know that the money will help a family truly in need and that we understand that when we are called upon in the future to help others we will definitely be there for someone else.
God Bless and thankful to all who contributed,
The Hill Family
