What is the Public Outreach Committee?
The Public Outreach Committee is a liaison between the Lockwood Fire
Protection District and the Board of Directors. If you have any concerns, needs, or

Pine needles
and leaves disposal
If you have only pine needles and leaves that you want to dispose of,the
following dumpster locations are available:
- Pine Acres Parking Lot
- Pioneer Park
- Mace Meadow Parking Lot
If you have any questions call the Amador Air Pollution Control District at
257-0112.
Save the
Tower Fund
Amador Fire Safe Council has a SAVE THE TOWER fund in progress. For a
nominal donation of $20, you will have access to a live video cam from Mt. Zion. For

Property Clean
Up Service
The Amador Fire Safe Council provides property clean up services for those people
that meet the age/income requirements.
If you have a large
pile of branches and brush that need to be burned please contact us at (209) 296-8766 or by e-mail so that the volunteers can arrange a
time to assist you with burning.
Help us with water
sources for fire fighting
Do you have a water source that
could be used to fight fires, i.e. swimming pools, jacuzzis, ponds, etc.? Please e-mail us at horsefun69@yahoo.com
with your location information and water source detail so that we may include it in our
water source list.
